"Little blessings"
In nature I always find little moments of happiness, will these simple catnip herbs know the smile they gave me when I found them at dawn?
I believe in little things... And just how big little things can be
"Easy come, breezy go"
At this time of year the meadows near my home are covered with wild oats and scabious flowers. For butterflies and bumblebees it is paradise, and for photographers, too, because the leaves of the wild oats, being so white, give an extra touch of light to the scene, and that's what photography is all about, isn't it? I hope not to bore you too much if in the coming days I repeat the oats in my images, but I am one of those who think that you have to take advantage of what each season gives you, and if you don't have to go far away, so much bett
"Mesmerizing nature"
All it takes is for a rainy night to give way to the faint light of dawn to convince me and reaffirm that my place is in nature and not in the city :)
"Robber fly"
Its name comes from the fact that it literally robs unwary insects and carries them hugging and flying to quieter places to eat them. I think that is why their legs are so long, to embrace insects bigger than they are.
"My own autumn"
One of the many advantages of living close to nature is that I have contact with these kinds of beings. Isn't he cute?
"When the world is abundant" (and so it should always be).
After the scarcity that winter leaves in its wake, beings living in nature will feel immensely fortunate amidst the abundance, warmth, sunlight and sounds that spring brings.
"Future ladybug"
Even ladybugs go through different (not very graceful) phases in their lives, to become the cute and chubby beings we know and love so well.
"Tiny dreams"
It is curious how the ladybug uses the petal to protect herself from the night dew. Nature is very wise, whether we understand it or not.
"Little common things of spring"
If I ruled the world, every day would be the first day of spring :)

"With the sun in her hair"
On one of these summer afternoons I was in a meadow near home, and there was a large number of longhorn bees dancing among the flowers and against the light... these are the simple things that make me feel happy :))
"A big neighborhood to explore"
Near home there is a meadow, and at the moment that meadow is divided into two neighborhoods, distributed like this: where grasshoppers and small butterflies live (even the big ones are not seen), and the neighborhood of mosquitoes and beetles. The spiders are distributed in both neighborhoods. As you can see I was visiting the beetle neighborhood. The mosquitoes left their memory on my skin :(
"Morning bath"
I am sure that this bath is just as beneficial for the plants as it is for those of us who walk through nature and immerse ourselves in these lights and shines :)
"Clinging to life"
This little butterfly clings to the blade of grass waiting for the rising sun to warm it so it can fly away. My first butterfly of the new season, she is very brave because winter is not over yet :) "What would life be if we had no courage to try anything?" - Vincent van Gogh
"Mayfly"
I knew this insect, a first cousin of the dragonfly, through documentaries and views on photography websites. Last week I went down to the river at dusk, and I was able to see my first mayfly, on the most important and only day of its adult life. They are aquatic insects, but they emerge from the water to become winged adults, having only 24 hours to take flight, find a mate, copulate, spawn and die (and we complain about the stress of our lives). I am very honored to have been able to be an eyewitness to this important day.
"Sunbathing"
In these cold and rainy days it is difficult to find any insects buzzing around us, but the simple image of this little spider taking a sunbath, with the last light of the evening, made me feel that I didn't waste my time staying at home.
"Plume moth"
I have been trying to photograph this kind of moth for over a year. Not that it is difficult to photograph, because once it lands on the dry grass, it stays very still, blending in with its surroundings. What has been difficult for me is to find its best angle, because from the side it is not understood that its wings are two curved and symmetrical spars, resembling two dry sticks, getting lost in the shot. Yesterday evening almost at dusk, and after having me walking around with him in the pine forest, he landed on this spike and I was able to photograph him from his back. I hope you like it :)
"Sweet dreams little one"
"The rise of pharaoh"
Living in an area which in summer becomes more than arid, dry, desolate (45 ºC in the shade)... and seeing the attire of this mantis and its pose, I could not help but think of the vast expanses of the desert sands, where its master dominated them from his monumental tower :)
"Farewells"
I had promised myself, that I would never share any kind of death in my gallery, but the farewell of this little one has made me change my mind, I can only see how beautiful he is, (and yes, I have said it well, in the present tense)
"Sleep well, little one"
At sunset we can see how some insects protect themselves from the night weather. Like this very tiny mining bee, which along with others of its species, choose dry bushes to spend the night. The easy part of this picture is that when he is asleep, I could look for the best angle of him, as well as the best light. The negative part (almost hard) is that I had to move the stems very softly to be able to focus him without causing any disturbance. Apparently he looks a little bit like me, as we have the same deep sleep, because I was photographing him hard, and he was still asleep without getting upset, throughout the photo session!. Isn't he lovely?
"Ladybug, give me some good luck!"
in the spring, when I find my first ladybug, I feel really lucky.
